Choose your hearth shape

Select the finished outline. We will only ask for the measurements needed to manufacture that shape accurately.

ⓘPricing rule: every single-piece shape is priced from its longest overall width × longest overall length. Cut-outs and unused areas inside that bounding size do not reduce the calculated price.
3

Enter longest measurements

Enter the maximum overall width and maximum overall length in millimetres. Thickness is fixed at 20mm.

Selected stone size limitLimestone — maximum stone size 2400 × 1300mm

Your hearth must fit within these maximum dimensions. The stone can be rotated where suitable to make the best use of the available size. All hearth stone is supplied at 20mm thick.

Need a larger size? Please contact us directly with your required measurements. We may be able to source suitable material specifically for your hearth.

Tear hearth measurements

FireHearths Direct tear hearths are essentially a circle inside a square, with just one 90° rear corner kept. Enter the overall width and overall length first for the square metre price calculation, then enter Straight 1 (wall edge) and Straight 2 (wall edge) so we can manufacture the profile accurately.

◆This is a corner tear hearth — think of a circle touching all four sides of a square, then remove three square corners and leave one rear 90° corner. The small angle marker inside the shape shows the fixed 90° corner.

Pentagon / cut-corner measurements

Use the measuring guide below and enter all four measurements so the shape can be manufactured accurately.

⌞The drawing is viewed from above. The top-left corner is a 90° corner and the cut corner is on the front-right. We use the overall width (wall edge), overall length (wall edge), left front and right front measurements to manufacture the shape accurately.

Single-piece T Shape measurements

Please measure both parts of the T. The top section is the narrower rear projection; the bottom section is the wider front hearth. If the top section is not centred, enter the left and right shoulder measurements to show exactly where it sits. Pricing uses the widest section × the total overall length.

Want the top section completely centred? Leave both Left shoulder and Right shoulder blank. We’ll calculate equal shoulders automatically so the top section sits centrally.

↔If you enter shoulder measurements, Left shoulder + top width + Right shoulder should equal the bottom width. If both are left blank, the top section is automatically centred. Overall length is bottom length + top length.

T Shape 2 Piece measurements

This hearth is supplied as two separate rectangular stone pieces. Please enter the finished width and length for the bottom section and top section. Only enter the left and right shoulder measurements if the top section is not centred on the bottom section. Each piece is priced separately in the background at £345 per m². Only the combined final total is shown.
